Join us for storytime on The Willard Rooftop on Friday, August 2, at 10am with local children’s book author Darren Farrell. Bring the kids up to the seventh floor for family-friendly fun and stories on our open air terrace with unmatched views of downtown Raleigh. And purchase your own copies of two of Farrell’s delightful children’s books, Dandelion Magic and Give This Book Away, to enjoy at home.
This event is free, but because we are limited in the number of guests we can host during this storytime, pre-registration is required to secure your spot. Please include total number of attendees when you register. Seating will be on the floor of the terrace; feel free to bring a towel if you wish!
Author Darren Farrell lives in Durham and has written and illustrated books published by Random House, Scholastic, and more. His book Dandelion Magic is a 2022 pick of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
